Formula Renault 3.5 racer Jake Rosenzweig has joined Addax for this weekend's Monza GP2 round. The American, who raced for the Spanish team in last year's one-off non-championship race supporting the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, replaces Josef Kral, who took his first win in the series last weekend at Spa.
Rosenzweig has had a tough season in FR 3.5 so far this year, where he sits 20th in the standings after six of nine rounds.
This is the second time Addax has replaced Kral this year. The Czech driver lost his seat to Dani Clos for the back-to-back Bahrain rounds earlier in the season, before returning for the first European race of the campaign at Barcelona.
Addax is the third team to announce a driver change for this weekend's GP2 races. Category veteran Luca Filippi is returning in place of Stefano Coletti at Coloni, while Coletti has taken the seat vacated by Daniel De Jong at Rapax.
Coletti said: "I am very happy for this new agreement that will allow me to race at Monza with Rapax. I already had the chance to do some testing with them in the past and on that occasion I found a top class technical and human structure.
"I am well-motivated to do good things at Monza, and I would like to thank Team Rapax for showing interest in me on several occasions."
