Gordon penalized for rules violation

Robby Gordon has been penalized by NASCAR for a technical rule violation following his third place in Monday's Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe's Motor Speedway. NASCAR confiscated the rear axle of Gordon's car after the conclusion of the rain-delayed event.
