Davide Rigon will return to the Superleague Formula this year with the Azerti-run RSC Anderlecht team. The 23-year-old Italian took Beijing Gouan to the inaugural Superleague crown in 2008, but only contested a part-season with Olympiacos last year.
"I'm very happy to be representing Anderlecht this year," said Rigon, who also raced in GP2 with Trident in 2009. "Obviously, I will have another go at winning the championship and although I realize I'm facing a difficult task, I have total confidence in the Azerti team. I'm already looking forward to battling for podiums and victories for Anderlecht and the team."
Anderlecht finished fourth in the 2009 Superleague standings, with driver Yelmer Buurman taking two wins at Jarama. The Dutchman has moved to AC Milan for 2010.
