Ferrari Formula 1 test driver Davide Rigon will make his return to single seater racing with BVM Target in Formula Renault 3.5 at Paul Ricard this weekend.
The Italian, who recently tested Ferrari's F2012 at the Magny-Cours young driver test, has not raced a single seater since breaking his leg in the 2011 GP2 opener at Istanbul.
Rigon is the fifth driver to take the seat alongside BVM Target's regular driver Nikolay Martsenko this season. GP3 racer Tamas Pal Kiss stepped in for his home race at the Hungaroring last time out, while Giovanni Venturini, Sergey Sirotkin and Daniel Zampieri have all driven for the team at some point this season.
The 26-year-old, a former Euro 3000 champion and Superleague race winner, has four FR3.5 starts to his name. They came in the final rounds of the 2005 season, where he drove for Victory Engineering and took a best finish of eighth.
