GP2 race-winner Giacomo Ricci will make his Superleague Formula debut and Franck Perera will return to the series after a two-round absence at Ordos this weekend in the latest round of driver shuffles in the football-based category.
Italian 25-year-old Ricci, who also tried Auto GP for the first time at Navarra last weekend, is stepping into the Galatasaray entry for the championship's first trip to China. He replaces Andy Soucek, as the former Formula 2 champion has been transferred to the Flamengo car in place of the absent Duncan Tappy.
Perera has been a semi-regular Superleague competitor since the series' inception, and has previously raced for AS Roma, Flamengo and Olympique Lyonnais, although he is yet to take a victory in the championship. He will race the Girondins de Bordeaux car, most recently driven by Celso Miguez, in China.
