SPEED.com's Robin Miller and Marshall Pruett are reporting that two key management changes for IndyCar and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway will be named this week.
According to the SPEED report, IMS CEO/interim IndyCar CEO Jeff Belskus will promote IMS communications VP Doug Boles into the COO position, and Robby Greene, who heads IMS Productions, will be named "interim COO" at the IndyCar Series. SPEED said Boles had declined to comment on its report.
Boles, a former partner in the Panther Racing IndyCar team prior to joining IMS, has worked closely with the Boston Consulting Group in the review of IndyCar's business strategy that it has been conducting for Hulman & Company over the past few months, and SPEED reports that BCG's findings and recommendations could come within the next few weeks.
