Ongoing speculation that IZOD, the "official outfitter" of the Indy Racing League, would step up to title sponsorship of the IndyCar Series, are close to finally becoming reality according to SpeedTV.com's Robin Miller. The new deal is "supposedly worth $10 million a year and is rumored to include $100,000 per car plus some help for Ryan Hunter-Reay in landing a full-time ride for 2010." Miller says the length of the contract is believed to be three or five years.
