The Indianapolis Star reports that an Andretti Autosport spokesman has confirmed that Ryan Hunter-Reay will compete for the team at the July 4 Camping World Grand Prix at Watkins Glen.

Hunter-Reay, winner at Long Beach earlier this year and the 2007 winner of the Watkins Glen IndyCar race, has been racing without a contract since Texas, although he competed in the IZOD IndyCar Series round at Iowa for Andretti's team with additional backing from Ethanol producers, in addition to his backing from IZOD. The Star report said that no additional sponsors have been announced for Hunter-Reay's No. 37 car for the Glen race.

Hunter-Reay's continuation with the team would up the Andretti squad's commitment for the upstate New York road race to five cars, as Irishman Adam Carroll is scheduled to make his IndyCar debut for the team there as well.
