Go2geiger.com reports that Mike Ashley Racing's NHRA Top Fuel operation has been sold in its entirety to Don Schumacher Racing. The sale includes the Matco Tools Top Fuel dragster driven by Antron Brown, who drove a Pro Stock Motorcycle for DSR before switching to Top Fuel with Ashley.
Ashley has been involved in legal issues involving Lend America, a mortgage banking concern for which he serves as executive vice president. Acivil complaint was filed last week by the Department of Justice in Central Islip, N.Y., against Ideal Mortgage Bankers, Ltd., which does business under the Lend America name. The complaint aims to prevent the company from making VHA loans, and also seeks relief against Ashley
