The expected press conference Wednesday announcing Danica Patrick's move to NASCAR has been delayed until Thursday, according to SceneDaily.com.

Patrick's sponsor GoDaddy.com had been reported to be planning a news conference for Wednesday in Phoenix, Ariz., at its headquarters to make the announcement, but this has been postponed until Thursday.

It's been widely reported that Patrick will announce a full-time NASCAR Nationwide Series program with Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s JR Motorsport team, for whom she has driven on a limited basis the past two years, as well as a possible limited run of Sprint Cup races with Tony Stewart's Stewart-Haas Racing team. None of the principals involved have confirmed or denied the rumored deal, which was first reported by ESPN back in May.
