Red Bull Racing has been fined and reprimanded for what the FIA stewards considered was an unsafe release of Sebastian Vettel in qualifying for the German Grand Prix.

The team has been fined 10,000 euros for releasing Sebastian Vettel unsafely during Q2, creating a "potentially dangerous situation" when Williams driver Kazuki Nakajima was running down the pitlane.

Red Bull has also been reprimanded by the stewards.
