Rally GB will move back to its traditional season-finale slot in the 2013 World Rally Championship calendar, which was ratified by the FIA World Motor Sport Council on Friday.
As revealed by AUTOSPORT earlier this month, next year's WRC will not feature any new events in its 13-round line-up.
Australia returns to replace New Zealand, and will take the mid-September slot occupied by GB this year. The Wales-based event instead moves back to November.
The only other change is that Sardinia shifts from October to May, where New Zealand had been in 2012.
The WMSC also finally confirmed that Red Bull would take on the vacant WRC promoter role.
