Following the announcements Thursday at the Performance Racing Industry Show in Orlando of the 2013 schedule for the SCCA U.S. Majors Tour, and the relaunch of SportsCar magazine, the official publication of the SCCA, RACER founder, CEO and Executive Publisher Paul Pfanner revealed that RACER.com will have an expanded SCCA SportsCar section next year, delivering coverage of the SCCA U.S. Majors Tour rounds as well as the 50th Anniversary SCCA National Championship Runoffs.
"The SCCA U.S. Majors Tour focuses competition to attract the best of the best and creates a context that will add meaning and stature to SCCA's Club Racing Program," said Pfanner. "It will be a great lead-up to RACER.com's already excellent and expansive coverage of the SCCA National Championship Runoffs."
