In just two days, the racers of the BFGoodrich/Skip Barber National presented by Mazda head to Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Conn., for Rounds 5 and 6 of the 16-race season. The series will be racing Memorial Day weekend in conjunction with Grand-Am at the historic 1.53-mile, seven-turn road course.
At the previous event at Virginia International Raceway, Thomas McGregor claimed the championship points lead from Brandon Newey, who is a mere two points behind the leader. Approaching Rounds 5 and 6, the battle for the championship is close and tight, with only 15 points separating fifth from first place.
