James Calado, who claimed victory in the Abu Dhabi sprint race on his GP2 debut, was awarded 15,000 euros by Pirelli for winning the tire manufacturer's GP3 Award.
Pirelli, which supplies tires for both series, put up a the prize for the best GP3 graduate competing in this weekend's non-championship GP2 event.
ART driver Calado, who scored seven points after also finishing eighth in yesterday's feature race, pipped iSport's Tom Dillmann, who finished with the same number of points, to the prize because his victory gave him the edge in the tie-breaker.
Dillmann added third place in the sprint race to sixth in the feature to secure second place in the Pirelli award, earning 10,000 euros for his efforts.
Fabio Leimer (Racing Engineering) was the top points-scorer of the weekend overall after winning the feature race, beating Marcus Ericsson (iSport) to the top spot.
