The Phoenix/Carsport Chevrolet Corvette of Marc Hennerici and Mike Hezemans has lost its third place from yesterday's GT1 World Championship qualification race at Spa.
Hennerici and Hezemans had completed the podium, behind the similar Corvette of Jos Menten and Xavier Maassen and the Lamborghini of Ricardo Zonta/Frank Kechele, but there was less than the mandatory 2kg of fuel left in the car.
The Corvette's exclusion has promoted the Stefan Mucke/Christoffer Nygaard Aston Martin to third.
Because the result dictates the grid for today's main race it also means Hezemans and Hennerici will have to start from the back.
