Richard Petty Motorsports, which announced earlier this month that it was switching from Dodge to Fords for 2010 as part of its merger with Robert Yates Racing, may run a Taurus before the end of 209, according to
Scene Daily. According to its report, RPM would like to race a Ford if it can before the end of the 2009 season.
“Weare in a gathering information stage, trying to learn as much as we canabout the new brand,” Loomis told Scene. “Obviously, I think there's a lot tolearn not just from the car side, but from the motor side. We want toget as much information as we can. Like I said before, I don't think itwould surprise anybody if we had one [of the Fords] on the track beforethe end of the year."
