Henri PescaroloHenri Pescarolo was critical of the factory Peugeot pit crew after it release Pedro Lamy's #7 908 into the path of his own #17 Peugeot.

Jean-Christophe Boullion struck the rear of Lamy's car, causing a puncture and subsequent blown tire. Lamy lost seven laps to the incident while Pescarolo's own car went one lap down while repairs to its bodywork were carried out.

Pescarolo blamed Peugeot for crash, but also cited the number of photographers in the pitlane as a cause of the accident.

"That was really stupid," said Pescarolo. "The guy that let the car go when one was coming was completely stupid. There is a rule that you have to wait. The real problem is there were too many photographers around the car so they couldn't see."
