Nicky Pastorelli/Dominik Schwager, All-Inkl Lamborghini, Abu Dhabi 2011The pole-winning All-Inkl Lamborghini has been awarded a five-place grid penalty for today's opening round of the FIA GT1 World Championship in Abu Dhabi.

The German team was alleged to have started the Lamoborghini Murcielago R-SV driven by Nicky Pastorelli and Dominik Schwager with an external battery prior to its run in Q1. The procedure, which is contrary to the regulations, was disputed by All-Inkl.

Pastorelli ignored flag signals instructing him to return to the pits and restart the car without external assistance. This procedure was only undertaken at the end of his run.

The decision means that Darren Turner will start today's qualifying race from pole aboard the lead Young Driver AMR Aston Martin. Schwager will start from sixth place on the grid.
