Dani Pedrosa's participation in the Grand Prix of Catalunya remains uncertain after undergoing surgery on his right collarbone on Wednesday. The Honda rider was injured after he crashed at the French GP last weekend following contact with Gresini's Marco Simoncelli.
Pedrosa underwent surgery at the Teknon Medical Center in Barcelona, where he was also operated on earlier this year following his injury to the left collarbone. In today's operation, a titanium plate was inserted to fix the fracture in the right collarbone.
Pedrosa will be released from the hospital after medical checks and will begin passive rehabilitation next week.
The Barcelona race takes places on June 5 and Honda said Pedrosa's participation was still uncertain.
