MotoGP rider Dani Pedrosa will undergo more surgery to his right collarbone in order to try to speed up the healing process from his French GP crash injuries.
The Spanish rider broke his collarbone during the race in France, and has been forced to miss the last two races in Barcelona and Silverstone. On Thursday, his Honda team announced Pedrosa will have another operation, with more details expected at the end of the day.
"During the rehabilitation process in the past weeks a very small fragment of bone moved, therefore to aid faster healing, doctors will proceed to fix this fragment," the team explained.
