SPEEDtv's Robin Miller reports that Paul Tracy recently met with officials of insurance company GEICO, which sponsored him at Indianapolis and Watkins Glen this season. He was told that they were happy with PT's efforts and wanted to help him again in 2010. “But they're only interested in the races on ABC,” Tracy told Miller.
All but five IndyCar Series races are aired on Versus, which was recently dropped by satellite television provider DirecTV in a dispute with Versus' parent company, Comcast. Miller reports that for the 11 ICS races aired to date on Versus, the average rating of 0.32 figures out to less than 240,000 people per race.
