Hungarian Tamas Pal Kiss will join Atech CRS GP for the 2012 GP3 season. A race winner in GP3 last year with Tech 1 Racing, he had already tested for the team at Barcelona last month. He joins American Ethan Ringelin in Atech's lineup for 2012.
"I'm really pleased to be returning to a team I know and to be working with some of the people I built up such a good relationship with in 2009/10," said Pal Kiss, 16th in last year's championship. "After a successful season last year, it's nice to come back to Atech and after a good test at the end of last season, and a positive pre-season test in Spain recently, I'm confident ahead of the 2012 season.
"Naturally, it's always better to stay with a team for a second season for a proper attempt at winning the series, however I know the Atech team well, we work well together, and I have a very good relationship with my engineer Mick Cook. I'm sure that if we continue to work hard during the preseason, we have a very good chance of challenging for the title."
