The old-specification ORECA Peugeot set a surprise fastest time in the final practice session before qualifying for the Sebring 12 Hours.
Audi had looked set to lead the way until ORECA's Loic Duval put in a 1m48.704sec right at the end of the session to take the quickest time by a second. Tom Kristensen also made a late improvement in second place to edge out his Audi teammate Romain Dumas.
The works Peugeots were back in fourth and seventh places, split by the Highcroft HPD and the Muscle Milk Lola-Aston Martin.
There was a new name at the head of the GT field as well, with Frederic Makowiecki taking Luxury Racing's Ferrari F458 to the top, just ahead of the AF Corse Ferrari and the two BMWs.
Signature's ORECA-Nissan resumed its domination in LMP2, 2.4sec quicker than the best of Level 5's Lola-Hondas.
Qualifying takes place from 3 p.m. local time today.
