It was 35 degrees this morning at Lime Rock Park when the racers qualified for the final round of the BFGoodrich/Skip Barber National presented by Mazda. In the 28-minute timed session, Sebastian Ordonez set the fastest time and held the top position throughout the session, claiming his fifth California Scents Pole of the season.
MAZDASPEED Motorsports Development drivers Danilo Estrela and Trent Hindman will be starting tomorrow morning's race in second and third.
With seven minutes to go in the session, Hindman suffered contact with the tire wall of the uphill, but was cleared by medial staff and holds his starting position. Championship points leader Scott Anderson will start in fourth followed by Franco Aragones, Brandon Newey, Shelby Blackstock and Skip Barber Cup driver Brian Cook.
