Pedro NunesART will retain Pedro Nunes for a second season in GP3. The 22-year-old Brazilian joins already-announced Formula 3 converts James Calado and Valtteri Bottas at the team, which will run under the Lotus ART banner in 2011.

Nunes was only 24th in the inaugural GP3 championship, with two sixth-place finishes his high points, but team boss Frederic Vasseur is confident he will produce a stronger performance next year.

"Pedro is a driver who is showing solid progress and is a very well put together person," said Vasseur. "His first season in GP3 is promising as his various performances on very complex circuits underline.

"Beside Valtteri Bottas and James Calado, Pedro will bring his experience of the discipline and we are confident that we will be able to capitalize on his qualities, and if he allies consistency to his natural speed he will be an asset for Lotus ART in 2011."

Nunes added: "It is a great privilege for me to stay for another season with Lotus ART in GP3. Nicolas [Todt] and Frederic are giving me a great opportunity and I am very happy about it."
