The 2010 Formula 1 calendar has moved a step closer to its final form after the World Motor Sport Council approved the proposal to shift the Monaco Grand Prix forward by one week to May 16.
The 17 races of the '09 IndyCar Series averaged 1.2 million viewers across ABC and Versus, down 28.4% from last year, when telecasts were on ABC, ESPN and ESPN2.
Concerns over excessive tire wear on this weekend's Rally GB have eased following heavy rain on the opening day of the recce for the final round the World Rally Championship.
Next year's World Touring Car Championship will include rounds at Zolder and the Algarve for the first time.
