NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick and his wife Linda escaped serious injury after a technical failure caused the jet they were flying in to run off the runway when landing at Key West, Fla.
Marussia Virgin Racing has become the third team to apply for a name change next season, after officially lodging a request to revise its chassis name to Marussia.
Casey Stoner, Andrea Dovizioso and Dani Pedrosa say they will race at MotoGP's Valencia finale in honor of Marco Simoncelli, who died in a crash on lap two of the Malaysian Grand Prix.
