Chip Ganassi Racing and its NASCAR arm, Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates, will introduce another sponsor livery on its cars at the Edmonton IndyCar Series race and Brickyard 400 Sprint Cup race at Indianapolis, continuing the trend of cross-pollinating sponsorships over multiple racing disciplines that is becoming increasingly commonplace.
This weekend, Vaseline MEN Lotion will be an associate sponsor of Target Chip Ganassi Racing and Earnhardt Ganassi Racing. Vaseline MEN will be the primary sponsor of the No. 10 Dallara-Honda driven by Dario Franchitti this weekend’s IndyCar Series race at Edmonton, will appear on the No. 1 Chevrolet driven by Martin Truex Jr. at select races, starting at Dover on September 27.
“One of the advantages that our team has is the ability to provide a sponsor with opportunities and assets in multiple forms of auto racing thereby giving them the ability to market to different audiences,” explained Steve Lauletta, president of Chip Ganassi Racing Teams, Inc. “I think this is a great opportunity for both of us.”
