The Charlotte Observer and That'sRacin.com report that NASCAR has cut salaries of some of its supervisors, along with the budgets of some departments. Travel budgets to get NASCAR officials and haulers to and from the races was also cut, the newspaper and website said. NASCAR is also reportedly cutting prize money for its races by 10 percent this season.
