NASCAR Sprint CupThe NASCAR Sprint Cup may be America's biggest motorsport, but it is pushing to expand its international reach as well, with a new deal that will bring live coverage to UK television for the next two years, after UK digital satellite channel Premier Sports increased its deal with the series.

Premiere Sports, which has screened Cup action since 2011, will also add coverage of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series to its lineup next year. Selected Truck races will be screened live. Viewers will decide on which events are shown live through social media-based voting.

The channel's general manager, Richard Sweeney, said: "This is great news that we will again be in place come the Daytona 500 in February as the exclusive live UK broadcast partner for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series for a further two seasons.

"On top of continuing our exclusive coverage of the Cup, we have also struck a deal to show highlights of every Truck Series race throughout the two year extension."
