Mucke Motorsport has signed Willi Steindl to its 2011 GP3 Series lineup.
The German team has already confirmed that Nigel Melker will return for a second season, and has now concluded a deal with the 18-year-old Austrian.
Steindl finished seventh in the German Formula 3 championship this year, winning the last race of the season at Oschersleben. He tested with Mucke in Portugal and Spain at the end of the season and team boss Peter Mucke was pleased to firm up a deal for 2011, having previously run Steindl in the German ADAC Formula Masters series.
"Willi convinced us at the GP3 tests in October," Mucke said. "At Estoril as well as Jerez, he has been in the top 10 all the time. And he showed good talent and potential."
