The second pre-season MotoGP test got off to a quiet start at Sepang today with only Suzuki and Yamaha taking to the track.

Under the 2010 testing restrictions, the first day of the three-day winter sessions is reserved for test riders.

All four MotoGP manufacturers took advantage of this in the previous Sepang test earlier this month, but this time Honda and Ducati decided to wait until tomorrow when their race riders can take to the track.

Nobuatsu Aoki still ran for Suzuki, trying a new engine in the 2010 bike, while both Norihiko Fujiawara and Wataru Yoshikawa continued Yamaha's development work.
