Formula 1 testing at Jerez is expected to be hit by rain again this week.
Teams had limited dry running during last week's four-day test and the weather for this week's second test at the Spanish circuit is expected to be much the same. The worst of the rain is expected on Thursday, but forecasts predict a threat of showers on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday as well.
The teams looked into the possibility of relocating the test to Portimao or Barcelona, but abandoned the idea because of the logistical challenges involved.
Lotus is due to test for the first time this week, while fellow new team Virgin is eager for more dry mileage after its running was limited last week due a problem with its front wing mounting.
The test begins at Jerez on Wednesday.
