Kris Meeke, Peugeot UK, Rally of Curitiba 2010Peugeot driver Kris Meeke has admitted he won't risk all in an effort to take back-to-back victories on part two of the IRC's tour of South America, this week's Rally Argentina.

Having collected a convincing win on the second round of the series, the Curitiba Rally in Brazil, Meeke will start among the favorites in Argentina tomorrow night.

But the Northern Irish driver shunned the favorite tag, pointing out that he has never competed on the Villa Carlos Paz-based event previously.

"I don't tend to think about it too much," Meeke said. "All I can do is believe in my own ability, go out and do my maximum – my safe maximum – on the first three stages. We'll go at the safe side of flat-out, see what happens, and take it from there."

Meeke faces regular IRC competition from factory Skoda drivers Juho Hanninen and Jan Kopecky, with former Production Car World Rally Champion Nasser Al-Attiyah joining the Fabia S2000 ranks.

Locally, Gabriel Pozzo (Subaru) and Tango Team driver Marcos Ligato (Mitsubishi) are likely to feature at the sharp end, as will WRC regular Federico Villagra, who drives a sole Ford Fiesta S2000.
