Red Bull Racing announced Wednesday Brian Vickers has still not been cleared to drive, and so Casey Mears will again fill in for him in the team's No. 83 Toyota for Saturday's Sprint All-Star Race

Vickers continues to undergo testing and treatment following last week's diagnosis of blood clots, which resulted in his hospitalization. Mears replaced him for last weekend's Sprint Cup race at Dover.

“Given the extenuating circumstances we have dealt with this past week regarding Brian's health, we would like to thank NASCAR for their assistance and understanding of this unique situation by allowing us to compete in the All-Star Race,” said Jay Frye, Red Bull Racing general manager and vice president.
