McLaren has secured a sponsorship boost after agreeing to a deal with American financial company Aon at the Monaco Grand Prix.
Although the partnership has not been officially announced, the logos of Aon were spotted on the arms of the McLaren drivers on Saturday morning in Monaco.
Aon recently concluded a four-year sponsorship deal with Manchester United football club to be its shirt sponsor, and its move into F1 shows it is looking at further expanding its global awareness.
When contacted by AUTOSPORT to confirm the deal, a spokesman for Aon said: "Aon is excited to start working with McLaren. Vodafone McLaren Mercedes offers an ideal platform to drive sales and enhance our business-to-business marketing activity, especially in the global accounts segment and across important growth geographies."
Aon is no stranger to motorsport, with its vice chairman Grahame Chilton being the father of drivers Tom and Max.
