Felipe MassaFelipe Massa returned to the track in a 2007 Ferrari at Mugello yesterday, but was only able to complete 30 laps. Poor weather conditions prevented him from running for much of the day, and his outing was curtailed when darkness fell. Massa will stay on at Mugello today in the hope of completing more mileage.

"I'm happy that I could get into this car and it's always a pleasure driving on a track like Mugello," said Massa. "Everything went well, it's a pity that I could only drive in the afternoon. Let's hope I can be back tomorrow."

The outing was permitted under the testing ban as Massa was using a two-year-old car on demonstration tires. Massa had also used a 2007 machine in October when he had his first run after recovering from the severe head injury that he suffered in Hungary, although he was also reunited with his 2009 Ferrari for some exhibition laps at the company's World Finals weekend at Valencia last month.
