Ferrari driver Felipe Massa became a father on Monday afternoon after his wife Raffaela gave birth to their first child.
The baby boy was born at 6:27 p.m. local time at Sao Paulo's Albert Einstein hospital, where Massa had been recovering earlier this year following his accident at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Both baby and mother were doing fine, Ferrari said.
The team congratulated the family from Jerez with a sign that read "Benvenuto piccolo Felipe" (Welcome little Felipe).
