The British High Court decision on the Lotus naming dispute will be revealed on Friday afternoon when the judgment is delivered by Justice Peter Smith in London.
Although the case was originally heard back in March, the judge has spent the intervening time deliberating on his verdict. However, the official listing for the High Court of Justice Chancery Division issued on Thursday, said that the judge's verdict in the case that has been listed as Group Lotus PLC & anr v 1Malaysia Racing Team SDN BHD & ors Pt Hd will be issued tomorrow afternoon.
The judge is expected to issue his verdict on whether Team Lotus is allowed to use the "Lotus" name in F1, and also whether or not the team was in breach of the licensing deal that it originally had with Group Lotus.
