The LNT Ginetta squad has confirmed its line-up for the Le Mans 24 Hours by signing teenager Nigel Moore to join regular drivers company boss Lawrence Tomlinson and managing director Richard Dean.
Moore, who has won both the Ginetta Junior and G50 titles over the past two years, and this year has taken victories in both the British and European GT4 championships, will become the youngest British driver to compete in the race at just 17 years old.
"I've had an incredible two years with Ginetta - in 2007 I won the Junior Championship in a G20 and now I will be driving at the most exciting race in the world in an LMP1 car," said Moore.
"It's a real testament to the Ginetta programme that I've been able to come so far in such a short space of time."
Tomlinson added: "I am delighted that Nigel is part of Team LNT 2009. His story is a perfect example of how Ginetta supports young British driving talent by offering entry at grass roots right through to top level racing."
Tomlinson and Dean both have pedigree at Le Mans, the pair winning the GT2 class at the wheel of a Panoz Esperante in 2006 with Tom Kimber-Smith.
The team's Ginetta Zytek finished 18th overall on its debut in the Le Mans Series race at Spa two weeks ago with Tomlinson, Robbie Kerr and Guy Smith sharing driving duties.
