British Formula 3 team Litespeed will run a second National Class car for Aaron Steele at the next round of the championship at Snetterton next weekend.
Former McLaren Autosport BRDC Award finalist Steele tested for the team at the Norfolk circuit earlier this week in preparation for his F3 race debut. His running on the day was disrupted by a cooling problem, which limited him to 29 laps, but he remains confident for the race weekend.
"The team worked through the night to make sure the car was ready for the test," said Steele. "From the little running I had, I felt confident with the car.
"It was enjoyable to drive although I need more time to establish exactly what it can achieve. I'm confident that we'll shortly be right up there."
