Ford driver Jari-Matti Latvala has admitted his lack of seat time in a rally car is cause for concern him ahead of this weekend's Acropolis Rally.
The Finn was forced to miss Rally Argentina last month after breaking his collarbone in a training accident and returns to his Ford Fiesta RS WRC for the first time since finishing 13th on the Rally of Portugal, which ended on April 1.
"I feel better than I thought I would," said Latvala after posting second fastest time at the morning's first run through the shakedown stage in Loutraki. "There was no pain for me at all this morning. Before I came out here I went to see the physiotherapist and had an x-ray taken of the collarbone. Just before I started the recce earlier this week, I got the call to say there was nothing surprising in the x-ray and that everything is good.
"I am more afraid [about] the lack of driving. Two months ago was my last rally and that's what worries me a little bit. It was great to just get back in the car and drive again this morning."
