Formula 1 driver Robert Kubica says he could be back in a rally car this summer.
The Pole missed out on contesting the Monte Carlo Rally when the engine on his Renault Clio failed on the prologue stage on the eve of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge opener last month. Kubica says he will now focus his attentions on his day job – driving for the Renault F1 team – but he is keen to have another go at rallying.
"I want to dedicate myself 100 percent to Formula 1," he said. "I think we have a difficult period with Renault and a big challenge to come back on a proper level, so I am 100 percent committed to that. But, when there is a break in the summer for three or four weeks, then maybe I will do some rallies."
