International Superstars champion Johan Kristoffersson has ruled out a switch to the DTM next year, following his recent Audi test.
The 24-year-old Swede, who added the Superstars crown to his Scandinavian Touring Car and Carrera Cup titles, was one of a number of drivers to test old-spec Audi A4 machinery at Monteblanco last month.
Formula 3 racers Carlos Sainz Jr., Tom Blomqvist and Will Buller, plus sports car drivers James Rossiter and Andrea Sonvico, were also among the drivers tested in Spain.
"I thank Audi Sport for this great opportunity, although they were clear from the beginning: there is no space in 2013," admitted Kristoffersson. "It's just been a valuable test to give young drivers like me a chance to display our skills, and a good occasion for Audi to spot new potential recruits for the future."
Kristoffersson has declared his interest in defending his Superstars crown in 2013, but could also take in a Porsche-based program after recently making the final of the Supercup Scholarship program.
"I'm interested in lining up again in Superstars, but I still haven't finalized my 2013 commitments," he added.
