Audi's 2010 Le Mans challenge has been hit by a crash for Tom Kristensen in the No. 7 car.
Kristensen, who had been around two minutes behind the leading Peugeot, came across the BMW M3 of Andy Priaulx at the Porsche Curves. The BMW was struggling with a left-front puncture and a suspected broken wheel and caught Kristensen out as it crossed the track. The Audi R15 Plus went off on the outside of the track and nudged the barriers with its rear.
Kristensen got the car in for a new rear wing and Rinaldo Capello has taken it back out, but is now three laps down.
The leading Audi is now the No. 9 car, currently being driven by Romain Dumas, in fourth.
