Formula 1 refugees Kamui Kobayashi and Karun Chandhok are among a group of new drivers testing for the factory AF Corse Ferrari team in Spain this week.
Kobayashi and Chandhok are taking part in the tryout at the Motorland Aragon circuit along with GP2 race winner Luca Filippi, former Superleague Formula race winner Davide Rigon and Italian Formula 3 driver Brandon Maisano. Regular AF Corse drivers Gianmaria Bruni and Giancarlo Fisichella are also present for the three-day test, which began on Monday.
AF is understood to have one or two seats available in its second 458 Italia in the GTE Pro class of the World Endurance Championship.
Ferrari factory driver Olivier Beretta was listed in the team's second car when the WEC entry list was unveiled at the start of the month, but it has since been revealed that he will race in the American Le Mans Series with Risi Competizione. Frenchman Maisano, 19, is part of Ferrari's Driver Academy scheme.
