Greg and Leo MansellGreg and Leo Mansell will return to the Le Mans Series at the Hungaroring this weekend.

The pair missed the last round of the LMS in Portugal following their father, Nigel's accident at the start of the Le Mans 24 Hours in June. Their Beechdean Mansell Motorsport Ginetta Zytek has now been repaired and they will rejoin the series in Hungary. Nigel will join them for the season finale at Silverstone in September.

"It's been a long wait since Le Mans and obviously after the disappointment of that, it will be great to turn onto a new page at a new track," said Greg. "The track suits the car very well and hopefully we will have a competitive package. I look forward to seeing what we can do with it.

"There won't be any difference in how we approach the race with just two of us sharing the driving. I know the track where Leo doesn't so, hopefully, we can work well as teammates and I think having just two drivers it will actually be easier because we will have much more seat time and it should make the strategy a lot more doable."

Team principal Andrew Howard added: "The team has been working very hard to repair the damage to the car, which proved to be a lot more extensive than it looked when we got it back at Le Mans. Beechdean Mansell Motorsport is now ready for the race at the Hungaroring this weekend and is looking forward to a competitive weekend."
