Brothers Julien and Maxime Jousse will race together for the first time in this weekend's European Le Mans Series event at Donington Park.
Julien, who won last year's Le Mans Series LMP1 title with Pescarolo, and ex-Formula Palmer Audi race winner Maxime will drive Status Grand Prix's Lola-Judd/BMW B12/80 in the second round of the ELMS. They will drive the car with team regular Alexander Sims on a one-off basis.
Julien Jousse, who sampled the car along with his brother at Rockingham on Tuesday, said: "It will be the first time I have shared a car with my younger brother, so that will be a good feeling. I know Donington very well – I raced there in F2 and Formula Renault 3.5 – and it's a good track."
Both Jousse brothers split with the respective team with which they started the season ahead of last month's Le Mans 24 Hours. Julien began the year with Pescarolo Team and Maxime drove for Gulf Racing Middle East, both in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
