Carmen Jorda will switch to new GP3 Series team Bamboo Engineering for her second season in the championship.
The 24-year-old Spaniard, who took a best finish of 13th on the streets of Valencia with Ocean last year, replaces Roberto la Rocca at the team.
La Rocca has withdrawn from the series because the support of his sponsors has now become uncertain as a result of the changing political situation in his Venezuelan homeland following the death of president Hugo Chavez last week.
Jorda has also raced in Spanish Formula 3, Indy Lights and the MRF Challenge.
"I'm really pleased to have concluded the deal with Bamboo Engineering," she said. "I had a positive winter of testing and am looking forward to a good year. "Seeing the team go fastest at the end of the Estoril GP3 Series test really helped my decision making."
Jorda is testing for Bamboo this week alongside Lewis Williamson and Ryan Cullen.
